Wilkinson Sword Intuition Ultra Moisture: Spoonie Review

My reviews tend to be makeup based but this little gem has come in very handy and may be useful to other people living with chronic illness or indeed people who are just in a hurry, so I thought I’d mention it to you guys.

I got the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Ultra Moisturiser in February’s Glossybox. I used to use a version of this product many years ago; I think I just got lazy about buying the replacement blades and drifted away from it.

What I like about this product is that it saves a little energy & bypasses a step or two of the shaving process. There are many days in my current cycle of Daily Migraine and Fibromyalgia when just having a shower is a big deal and requires a big chunk of my limited stock of energy for the day. I’m also in pain all the time at varying levels. So any little nips and tucks that shorten the getting clean & smooth process are always welcome. If I must be relegated to the darkness of the bedroom yet again, I find it that little bit more bearable if cleanliness & smoothness has been achieved 😊.

On days when all movement is painful and exhausting, being able to eliminate the step of applying a gel or foam to my legs is a bonus; just water & this razor does the job. Also it’s not unusual for fatigue to be such an issue that I have to lie down after a bath or shower to recover! If I’ve used this razor and don’t have the energy to moisturise my legs afterwards, it’s not a problem as the the product around the razor does a good job of leaving a hydrated & not dried out finish behind.

I’ve found that it’s also harder to cut myself with this razor than disposal varieties, which is excellent as being exhausted and sick can cause me to make rookie mistakes on this front! I have enough problems without slices open my own ankle!

What your favourite time-saving beauty product/tool?

Wishing you good luck and happy days,
