Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes: Review

There is a really wide range of makeup removing/cleansing wipes on the market these days so I thought I’d take a moment to tell you guys about the wipes that I’ve found myself repurchasing lately – Simple’s Micellar Cleansing Wipes.

What I like most about these wipes is that I can remove eye makeup with them without my eyes stinging. Even wipes aimed at sensitive skin have aggravated my eyes in this past so this is a huge bonus. They do a good job of removing makeup generally – I can go straight on to toner after using these.

I can’t detect any fragrance on these wipes which makes them migraine-friendly; always an excellent thing for my point of view. They leave my skin feeling clean but not tight.

From a Spoonie (person with chronic illness) stand point, I like that I can reach for these if I can’t face locating or sitting up to use bottles of cleanser and cotton wool. On days when I’ve been feeling awful, have maybe thrown up more than once, I can use these a couple of times a day without irritating my skin.

There isn’t much more to say about them really and I think that’s a good thing; they remove makeup, leave your face soft and clean and don’t irritate they eyes. They do exactly what they’re supposed to do and don’t cost a lot 😊.

Do you have a favourite brand / forumla re. cleansing wipes?

Wishing you good luck and happy days,

Kindra x

      1. I know you were asking about the ready to use out the packet, but the pump bottle for the lotion is so easy! I have to watch my pennies so I shop round for the best price, which is currently Amazon. Even at full price, seven pounds, you get a lot, 500ml. I’ve sensitive skin and it’s gentle. I have a tissue handy if some gets in my eyes. I wear it under a bb lotion which as well as its light foundation properties gives that needed spf. 🙂 (bb creams) (E45 lotion)
I hope the links help. 😉
